Michael Jackson is among the artists to be in contention for one of two special awards at this year's Brits to celebrate the ceremony's 30th anniversary.
The new categories are the best Brits performance of 30 years, for which Jackson is nominated and best Brits album of 30 years.

Albums in contention for the best Brits album of 30 years include Oasis' (What's the Story) Morning Glory, Urban Hymns by the Verve and Brothers in Arms from Dire Straits.
The Beatles made the Top 40 once again and a pop t-shirt is an ideal way to celebrate.
