There's a strong possibility that many of them will be dusting off their vintage t-shirts and getting ready to jump around at the news.
Speaking to the BBC, Barat commented that he'd be happy to team up with former band mate Pete Doherty again, although added that he needs to discuss it with him first.
"If things are looking good that'll be nice," he told the news provider. "I guess I'll have to have a chat to Pete about it - he wanted to do it sooner but we missed all the dates."
It's been almost six years since the group split, following two albums and hits such as Can't Stand Me Now and Up The Bracket.
After parting company in 2004, Doherty went on to form the Babyshambles while Barat launched Dirty Pretty Things.
