Celebrate new Dr Dre song with hip hop t-shirts

Dr Dre has revealed he will collaborate with fellow stars Snoop Dogg and Akon on the first single from his new studio album Detox.

Fans of the legendary rapper may wish to celebrate the announcement of the new record - entitled Kush - by donning a hip hop t-shirt.

The track previewed online on Monday (November 15th), but an official release date is yet to be revealed.

Dr Dre's last album 2001 was released in 1999 and the musician has been working on the new record - alongside the likes of Eminem - for the past seven years.

He told Radio Big Boy: "I'm near the finish line right now, I'm wrapping it up. I need about two or three more songs and hopefully I'll start the mixing process in the next month."

The star, whose real name is Andre Romell Young, first burst onto the music scene in the early 1980s and is considered to be one of the pioneers of US West Coast hip hop, according to the Internet Movie Database.
