A guitar music legend Jimi Hendrix used to write some of his most famous songs is set to be sold for £120,000 at auction.
The instrument was bought second-hand by the musician for £15 in the mid-1960s
Hendrix - famed for hits including Purple Haze, Hey Joe and All Along The Watchtower - died in 1970 aged 27.
The unique memorabilia is being sold at Bonhams of London on December 15th.
Fans of the performer with a slightly lower budget in the run-up to Christmas needn't despair as there is a fabulous range of classic rock t-shirts in honour of Jimi Hendrix available here at 8ball.co.uk.
Why not opt for the eye-catching Hey Joe design, which features a screen print from the single artwork on a yellow t-shirt?
Girls can get in on the act too with the psychedelic Hendrix 2 design, which offers a skinny fit and a rainbow print image of the guitarist.
