Def Leppard are preparing to star in their own cartoon series on US television, according to reports.
In news that could prompt fans of the Sheffield heavy rockers to dig out their vintage Tshirts, music publishing company Primary Wave has said that an animated show is in the works.
However, the series is believed to be in the early stages and has not yet been pitched to networks.
The band, whose last album Songs from the Sparkle Lounge was released in April 2008, have signed a "wide-ranging" marketing deal with the firm, a report from Reuters states.
Primary Wave chief executive Larry Mestel said that video games and mobile phone applications related to Def Leppard are also now in development.
Formed in 1977, the group shot to stardom in the 1980s thanks to the commercial success of albums such as Pyromania and Hysteria.
Def Leppard toured the US with Cheap Trick and Poison earlier this year.
