Glastonbury 'won't be full of Arctic Monkeys T-shirts'

Fans of Arctic Monkeys might be disappointed that the Sheffield lads have stated that they're not going to be putting in an appearance at this year's Glastonbury.

The group told BBC 6 Music that they're not going to return to the festival until they've recorded another album.

Nick O'Malley told the broadcaster: "We wouldn't want to blow it. We'd rather come back after we'd done an album and do it properly."

So, it looks like you can cross Arctic Monkeys T-shirts off your packing list if you're heading to Somerset in June.

Although we've had all the customary rumours about headliners for this year's festival, very few acts are officially confirmed.

The only ones so far are U2, Jack Johnson and My Luminaries, the bill will no doubt fill up over the coming months.

But, what can we expect from the boys who brought us tracks like I Bet You Look Good On The Dance Floor and When The Sun Goes Down?

The lads are keen to get back in the studio with Josh Homme of Queens of the Stone Age fame so maybe we can expect something similar to last year's release Humbug, which Homme was involved with.
