Pay homage to Kurt Cobain with a Nirvana T-shirt following rumours of new biopic

It's been more than 15 years since Kurt Cobain died, with many music fans still mourning the loss of one of rock's brightest stars.

According to the Hollywood Reporter, the pace behind the long talked of Kurt Cobain biopic is gathering pace with the revelation that Oren Moverman is keen to rework the screenplay and possibly direct the flick.

The Oscar nominee is apparently in discussions with Universal over the project, which already has Cobain's widow Courtney Love on board as an executive producer.

Some of the material about his life is expected to be taken from the book Heavier Than Heaven: A Biography of Kurt Cobain by Charles R Cross, the blog noted.

Nirvana were responsible for some of the rock anthems of the 90s, releasing classics such as Smells Like Teen Spirit which is still regularly heard around the world.

They produced three studio albums as well as several live discs, building up a substantial fan base along the way, with many people continuing to wear their Nirvana T-shirts with pride.

When the movie gets released, they could find that they have another excuse to don their vintage T-shirts and pay homage to Kurt Cobain one more time.
