Get your Kings of Leon T-shirts ready for V Festival

US rock band Kings of Leon will be taking to the stage at the two different V Festival venues as one of the headline acts.

They'll be playing at Hylands Park in Chelmsford on Saturday August 21st before moving on to Weston Park in Stafford on the Sunday.

Kasabian are the other headliners to be confirmed at the festival, with a host of other acts lining up for the music extravaganza.

Although Kings of Leon T-shirts will probably dominate among the crowds, other bands set to get some attention include Faithless, Stereophonics, Editors and the Prodidgy.

Paul Weller, who was recently bestowed with godlike genius status at the NME Awards, will also be performing on the main stage.

Veteran rockers Shed Seven will also be putting in an appearance, as will some relative newcomers, including Cheryl Cole and Ellie Goulding.

There's pretty much something for everyone, with Groove Armada, Goldfrapp and La Roux among the more dance-oriented acts blasting out some tunes over the weekend.
