New EP release for The View

Fans of Scottish indie band The View may soon be able to dig out their retro t-shirt and wear it again, as the band have announced a release date for their new EP which could follow with a promotional tour.
According to a report by music magazine the NME, the band will release three unheard songs on their new EP Cutting Corners, which is scheduled for release in June this year. The new songs are Alone, Sideways and a remix of Sunday by Tim Hutton.
Other tracks on the June 13th release include Sunday and Happy, the source said.
The release comes ahead of a number of festival appearances by the band this summer, including Scottish favourite T In The Park on July 8th.
The View's previous album release was called Hats off to the Buskers and it featured successful singles including Same Jeans, Wasted Little DJs and Superstar Tradesman.
