Former Sex Pistols frontman John Lydon - aka Johnny Rotten - has admitted her turned down the chance to add guest vocals to the latest Gorillaz album Plastic Beach.
Lydon said no to the chance to join the likes of Snoop Dogg, Lou Reed and Mark E Smith on the album, instead preferring to concentrate on his band Public Image Limited.
Fans of the rocker - who shot to fame with the Sex Pistols' debut single Anarchy in the UK in 1976 - might fancy picking up a new punk T-shirt from one of the range of designs available from 8ball.co.uk.
"They gave me a bell but the answer was 'No.' I really don't want to be dabbling in other people's gene pools," he said.
He added he had previously worked with "many so-called famous people" over the years but it has never been for any deliberate financial motivation.
