Grab some retro T-shirts for a new dose of Austin Powers

Austin Powers could be returning to the big screen for a fourth instalment.

Director Jay Roach, who was behind the camera for the previous three Austin Powers movies, made the revelation in an interview with MTV.

"[Mike is] working on ideas for it, people are definitely talking about it and I'm all good for it," he said.

Fans of the previous three films, which has seen Myers collaborate with the likes of Elizabeth Hurley, Heather Graham and Beyonce, may want to find their retro T-shirts to show solidarity with the character's 70s background.

Anyone who wants a bit more of an idea about where the storyline of the next movie could be heading will have to wait though.

Roach didn't give much away and only conceded that Powers will be going "somewhere you haven't thought of", which - let's face it - could be almost anywhere.

It's been a while since the last instalment of the innuendo-laden comedy hit cinemas - Goldmember was released in 2002.
