Dig out band T-shirts to support Glasvegas

Fans of the Mercury Prize-nominated band Glasvegas will no doubt be devastated to hear that drummer Caroline McKay has announced her imminent departure from the group.

While this is undoubtedly sad news for fans of the Glasgow rockers, rooting out band T-shirts could help to show their support for the remaining three members of the group, who are planning to continue in Caroline's absence.

Frontman James Allan said: "We are really sad Caroline has decided to leave as she is one of the coolest drummers around. But we respect her decision and say goodbye with all our love and luck."

The new three-piece will continue to record the follow-up to their 2008 debut album in Los Angeles, although it is not clear whether Caroline is planning to continue her career in the music industry.

Glasvegas formed in 2003 and shot to fame five years later following the success of their self titled debut album.
