Bob Dylan to headline London festival

Bob Dylan will perform at an Irish festival in London this summer, it has been confirmed.

London Feis, an event that celebrates music from Ireland and across the world, is picking things up where The Fleadh left off seven years ago and has revealed the legendary singer-songwriter as its headline act.

Festival organiser Vince Power claimed the occasion will live long in the memory of music fans, as Dylan will not be performing at any other venues in the UK this year.

"I've worked with Bob many times before and am delighted to have him back once again," he added.

The folk singer - whose hits include Blowin' in the Wind, The Times They Are a-Changin' and Subterranean Homesick Blues - will take to the stage on June 18th at the festival venue in Finsbury Park.
