Glam rockers The Darkness have announced they are to reform and play at this year's Download festival.
Lead singer Justin Hawkins made the revelation to BBC Newsbeat and claimed he had been keeping quiet about the reunion for a while.
"It was frustrating for a long time to not be able to tell anybody because we've had to sort of keep it a secret," he said.
Hawkins - who may be remembered for providing vocals on hits I Believe In a Thing Called Love and Get Your Hands Off My Woman - has admitted to nerves ahead of the band's appearance at the Donington event.
"The idea of playing Download terrifies us," the frontman remarked.
Joining a line-up that already includes Linkin Park, System of a Down and Alice Cooper, the group will perform in a supporting slot to Sheffield rock act Def Leppard on Friday June 10th.
People who remember The Darkness could be in need of a new music t-shirt in honour of the band, which can be purchased from 8ball.co.uk
