Kick-Ass is set to hit our screens amid a flurry of moral outrage from people who will most likely never set foot in a cinema to watch the film.
And yes, it will more than likely inspire a host of offensive T-shirts, depending on your point of view.
Director Matthew Vaughn has been speaking out against the band of people who are condemning the use of a certain four letter word in his movie, largely because it's been spoken by a young girl.
When asked about the offending word by the Times, Vaughn replied: "It will ruin any creativity in this country if we have to be answerable to them. It's a free country and you don't have to watch it."
Most of us who are intending to see the movie would probably agree with that sentiment.
While Vaughn's been involved in a number of films as a producer - including Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels, Snatch and Mean Machine - this is only the third time he's sat in the director's chair.
Although Kick-Ass is stirring up a media storm, we'll have to wait just a little bit longer until we can make our own minds up. It's set to hit screens in the UK from March 31st.
