Former Velvet Underground singer Lou Reed is set to join Damon Albarn's Gorillaz onstage at Glastonbury festival, it has been suggested.
Albarn - also famed for his career with Britpop sensations Blur - revealed he is hopeful Reed will be joining them onstage for the first time at Worthy Farm.
"Lou Reed's arriving and fingers crossed he's coming straight to rehearsal. And then we watch the game," he said.
Although Reed has never sung live with the band before he does lend his vocals to the animated group's track Some Kind of Nature from the album Plastic Beach.
Fans of the singer could mark his guest appearance by picking up one of the range of T-shirts in honour of his former band available from 8ball.co.uk.
The Fall's Mark E Smith and rapper Snoop Dogg are also set to collaborate with the group on the Pyramid Stage tomorrow night (June 25th). 
AC/DC are set to bring out their first live album for 14 years.
The former Beatle has announced a string of UK tour dates for this summer.
