Heavy metal fans in the US are likely to be donning their old Motorhead T-shirts when the Revolver Golden Gods Awards takes place in Los Angeles next month.
This is because several members of rock royalty have confirmed a mouth-watering collaboration for the music magazine's annual awards show.
With Motorhead's Lemmy due to receive a lifetime achievement award at the event, Slash and Dave Grohl will join the veteran frontman for a special rendition of the band's classic single Ace of Spades.
Released in 1980, the song has become Motorhead's signature tune and remains an anthem for rock music fans around the world.
According to the publication, Foo Fighters star Grohl will present Lemmy with his award later in the evening.
The show is set to take place at Club Nokia in Los Angeles on Thursday April 8th.
However, British fans also have an excuse to wear their Motorhead T-shirts, as the event will be broadcast by VH1 Classic on May 22nd.
The Revolver Golden Gods will be hosted by musician Andrew WK and WWE wrestling star Chris Jericho.
